Blog/Art News

If you follow my blog you will notice I haven’t posted anything in a couple of days when I planned that August would be an everyday blogging month. The reason for this is that I have made an important decision to provide more time for Artwork and for my career in Art. This means that I will be closing down my blog. I have only been blogging for about 6 months and I have loved every moment of it, however managing a Fulltime Job, a Blog, a YouTube channel, my Social Medias and my Art Collections has become increasingly difficult. I am currently working on several Art Collections so I can open an online store, hopefully this will happen in the next two weeks. I generally work with Pencils however over the coming months I will be experimenting with Watercolour and Oil Paints. This is purely a professional decision based on where I am heading in my career as an artist. I love blogging, it’s a beautiful way to share and connect with other people who you may never meet.

I do make YouTube videos as well which I will still be doing, so what I blog about will now be in a video instead of a post. I will be making videos of Makeup Tutorials, Speed Drawings and Artwork, Lookbooks and Hauls, DIY’s and anything else I want to talk and share with my subscribers.

I will definitely consider returning to blogging once I have more time to spend writing my posts and not feel like their rushed. Having a fulltime job and trying to establish yourself in a competitive market is very time consuming and hard work. The future plan is for my Fulltime Job to be my artwork, however at this point I have to balance my time very wisely like most people with a dream and ambition to do something they love.

If you like my artwork or you are a fan of my blog please follow my Instagram and Twitter as I will be posting everything there.

You can see three pieces of my new Graphite Collection Below.

On The Tube

If you are subscribed to my Youtube channel you will know I create all different types of videos. You will find a range of video's that include DIY Fashion Tutorials, Makeup Tutorials and Beauty, Haircare, Fashion Styling and Art Speed Drawings. I have always wanted it to be very personal and entertaining.

My first ever video is actually so difficult for me to watch as the quality is terrible and my physical appearance is very different. You can tell that I am new to talking to a camera as I come across quite shy and quiet which is the complete opposite to the person I am. Obviously my experience and confidence has grown since then, it has become so easy to sit in my house and have a conversation with my camera. Any body who makes Youtube videos or any type of videos will understand that.

This video is actually my most watched video at 45,000 views so it has got its fair share of attention. This video is a DIY Fashion Tutorial showing how to transform some plain nude heels to into mink style laced beauties. I didn't have the equipment that I do now so I am in the process of remaking this video as it's been very highly requested.

Makeup Tutorials and Beauty videos are a must for my channel, I am naturally a creative person so I enjoy putting on my makeup and been able to let my creativity run wild. I have made a lot of makeup videos but what better than a budget on trend contouring challenge.

Hair is quite subjective as we have all different weights, length and textures of hair. Recently I have become quite bold with my hair. The video below is a new video which shows how I dyed my hair to a ombre pink/purple for under £10.00. Considering a salon would charge at least £60, that price is such a bargain.

Fashion is something I have always been interested in however my style has change dramatically in the last few years. The video below is a Fashion Haul/Lookbook to show what I have been buying recently and how these look on, you might find something you like.

If you follow me on Social media or are subscribed to my channel you will already know I am combining my blogging and my art Social Media's . I guess this gives my blog and channel more of a personal touch as you know the person behind the art work. This is the first art speed drawing on my channel.  I will continue to add more speed drawings as time goes on,  however my drawings do take a long time to complete so please have patience.

I hope you enjoyed this in depth post into my YouTube Channel. Please stop by my channel by clicking on the Youtube Link  below. I have a lot more videos like these ones that you maybe interested in.

Holiday Vlog | Paragliding | Kayaking | Horse Riding

I have been so naughty recently with my blog posts, there is a good reason for it though. If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter you will know I draw and and paint, so the reason I haven't posted in a while is because I am in the middle of working on a collection so I can get a store up online and start selling my artwork. I have created a Facebook Page, Instagram Account and Twitter Account to share my work and the process I take. My first online speed drawing is now on a new Youtube Page.

You can visit them all by clicking on the links below.

These account are in the very early stages and I am still working on them to gain more attention, but if Blogging and Youtubing has taught me anything. It takes time and hard work. I think some people try it for the money potential but what you need to keep in mind is its not near as easy as that.

The other reason for being a mute is I was on holiday in Turkey with Al and my Mum and Nan was in on a holiday there as well, so it was like a family affair. The holiday was so nice, it was early May so it was nice and quiet, a warm heat but not too hot as sometimes it can easily get like that in Turkey. This is my first Vlog on my channel after over a year of being on Youtube. I hope you like it and if you are thinking of going to turkey then definitely press play to see some of the sights of Olu Deniz. As Al didn't know what he wanted for christmas I bought him this holiday as his main present. It was so nice just to get away as work and life does start to take over so a break away from everything was just what we needed. We went horse riding in the mountains, on a boat trip around the bays, I went paragliding with my Nan as she was all for it. So it was a lovely time well spent.

Press play to see what we got upto and how nice it is in Olu Deniz, Turkey.

I hope you are enjoying the English Sun!
